To begin with, my relationship with math started out rocky. I don’t mean like ‘Rocky Road ice cream kind of rocky but ‘attempting to climb Mount Everest’ kind of rocky. When I was younger, math was all about memorization. Multiplication tables, procedures after procedures of multiplying and adding fractions with different denominators, and all that. So, I hated it. I hated it like a vampire would hate garlic.
